नई दिल्ली: अदन की खाड़ी (Gulf of Aden) में एमवी मर्लिन लुआंडा (MV Marlin Luanda) पर हमले की खबर के बाद भारतीय नौसेना (Indian Navy) ने एमवी मार्लिन लुआंडा पर अग्निशमन प्रयासों में मदद के लिए एक टीम तैनात की है।

लुआंडा की मदद के लिए आईएनएस विशाखापट्टनम (INS Visakhapatnam) को तैनात किया गया है। इसकी जानकारी शनिवार को भारतीय नौसेना ने दी है। बता दें इस मर्चेंट शिप में 22 भारतीय और एक बांग्लादेशी चालक दल के सदस्य सवार हैं।

ऐसे मिली जानकारी
मार्शल आइलैंड्स के ध्वज वाले मर्लिन लुआंडा ने एक कॉल के जरिये हमले की सुचना दी थी। 26 जनवरी की रात को यह सुचना भारतीय नौसेना के पास पहुंची थी जिस पर त्वरित कार्रवाई करते हुए अदन की खाड़ी में आईएनएस विशाखापट्टनम को तैनात कर दिया गया है।

इसी के साथ नौसेना ने बताया कि संकटग्रस्त मर्चेंट वेसल को हर संभव मदद पहुंचाई जा रही है।

हूती आतंकियों का हमला
जानकारी के मुताबिक यमन के हूती आतंकियों के मिसाइल हमले के बाद टैंकर में आग लग गई। ब्रिटिश तेल टैंकर के संचालक ने कहा है कि जहाज लाल सागर पार करने के बाद अदन की खाड़ी में एक मिसाइल से टकरा गया था।
